Cult of the Sun

Cult of the Sun is a short first-person horror game about documenting an aurora-worshipping cult's power. This is a submission for GDEX Game Jam 2023. This game is made in 9 days or so.

You are a paranormal investigator who has been hot on the trail of an aurora worshiping cult that has been preparing for the arrival of a powerful geomagnetic storm. Shortly after its arrival the cult took to the woods and hasn't surfaced since. Equipped with your camera you strike out alone, hoping to prove the existence of whatever they are worshipping.

Can you shed light on the truth?
And more importantly, can you make it out alive?
